    I didn't know it was a Blackcap until I zoomed in on it. Very pleased

    Yes. I was surprised they usually arrive about a week into March down here in flocks especially at Bowling Green Marsh. Can't get the just now but very surprised at them locally ........and pleased. Lovely little birds

    It's still the opposite for me here (as in Ayr and New Milton before)

    I don't see Blackcaps in summer, only in winter when they are hungry.
