Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

    Default Fledgling Sparrow

This little one had left the neighbours garden where he really should have been, and despite being 10 metres or more away, and me without my distance glasses that white mouth meant I knew straight away it was a fledgling.
I was actually on the way t the bus, but I ran back into the house to grab the camera.
I worried, since I could see no other birds but eventually they came out from behind the hedge so I stopped worrying and got my bus.

Always a little concerned when seeing an apparently abandoned fledgling. Not much we can do though, I have on the odd occasion put one into a bush or less cat friendly environment.
