How long would you expect your memory card to last if you take 400 to 600 photos per day?

I know most are made to last 10years but I am using Samsung (cheapest) and am wondering if that many photos per day is shortening the life of the card?

My photos are no longer crystal clear even when fairly close

Not sure about the life cycle Beryl, but as it's digital information, a failing card will simply render corrupted data, images will not load, it won't affect focus or sharpness of image.

I've had one failure over the years, but as they're relatively cheap now, I'm not too bothered.

One of my cards failed last week. Several photos wouldn't show

I managed to retrieve them eventually I think I will invest in a couple of new cards this week end

Mind you I am a bit wobbly I guess. I have to have a major op on my knee so can't walk too well (ha ha and topple a bit) My lens has VR but even so it still could be I'm not too steady at the mo'

I have the same problem Beryl, find it difficult to take macro, as my hands shake too much.

I bought some new memory cards yesterday and to day I took 74 photos of my Baby Granddaughter running around in the park.
Every one was a winner . Excellent and sharp

So my other cards must have developed a fault
