Sometimes the best shots happen by accident

A bit of background on this one - I was out trying to photograph a comet last March. Didnt have too much success. But one pic didnt come out too badly at all.

Now if I tell you theres no water body of any kind within half a mile of where I took this how did I manage this effect Which I had no idea Id managed until I looked at the pics later - I was more interested in photographing the moon and tree!

The moon must have been quite bright to create such a shadow. Maybe it lit up the ground in the near distance?

I was leaning on the roof of the car to steady the camera as I was on a very slow shutter speed - its just the reflection on the roof!

Great, I took a shot of the sunset looking over the sea towards Bournemouth one night, and got the reflection on the car roof too!

Should have guessed.....
