    Default Weather - flooding!

    This was our back garden just after 8.30 this morning!

    Think we're going to have a wet Christmas....

    Oh my goodness Catherine, I presume that's just ground saturation rather than flooding from a stream?

    No stream anywhere near - and it's getting significantly worse!

    Rain keeps falling heavily.... and the roads in and out of town are awash. It's the clay soil which doesn't drain easily. Hard to imagine how dry and cracked it can become in summer!

    This is our neighbour's garden just now, at lunchtime. The whole of his garden is under water;

    So maybe Santa will have a problem landing this year!

    Not as bad here, there's a lot of road flooding though.
