Was so intent on his song, wasn't too bothered about my presence.
Lovely photo, Rolf!
Difficult to take one of a Dunnock as it's quite a dull bird colour-wise, but the blue sky and sunshine set it off really beautifully.
Nice shot. I was 4ft away from a blackbird yesterday and he was too busy singing to worry about me either.
Here's another Dunnock, this time from Farley hill and a couple of butterflies.
Beautiful shots, Rolf!
The Dunnock is so under-rated - in song and appearance.
That's a very 'new' Comma Butterfly I think - and the Peacock one looks especially good beside the blossom.
We saw two Orange Tips yesterday or the day before, and a large bluish Butterfly flew over the house.
I hope this colder weather doesn't affect them!
Thanks Catherine, yes, saw a couple of Orange tips as well, but as I had the big lens on the camera, wasn't quick enough to capture them.
Do you not have a small, cheaper camera like this one as well, Rolf?

It's always handy to have...
It slides into a pocket easily, and Glen took this pic of a Comma Butterfly at The Vyne with it (cropped a bit here)!
Yes I do Catherine, got a little Casio, but didn't have it with me that afternoon.
