It always looks dull im our back garden in winter as it faces north. However, some of the birds which call there fairly brighten things up!

(We took these through the conservatory dg windows, so the quality isn't good, but you get the idea!)

The Bullfinch's favourites are always the sunflower hearts, and the Nuthatch was helping clear up the mealworms left out for a Hedgehog - just in case....

Lovely hosting a Bullfinch and Nuthatch Catherine, wish I had Bullfinches, only occasional visitors. I get lots of Goldies, but still have to find a solution to the pile of wasted sunflower hearts on the floor under the feeder, doesn't get eaten, just piles up and festers.

The Chaffinches and the Wood Pigeon gang 'tidy up' under our feeders here.

Do you not get any Wood Mice or Collared Doves coming from amongst the trees opposite you?

We sometimes see Bank Voles nibbling some too. We've had Pheasants visit us here only twice, but they sure clear up when they do!

Unfortunately the volume of seed the constant flow of Goldies drop on the floor would need a battalion of Woodies to clean up.
