    Fantastic! Must send this to Mike (who works with Eurostar) and challenge him to design a train which travels that way - no friction, thus no wear!

    Or maybe that's too simplistic!

    Yeah, but if you turned off the magnet, Rolf, the train would stop - albeit with a bump!

    And it WAS very cold here last winter, wasn't it?
