Taken on Friday at Lwwt. The next to last is a male who has grown a new tail, the last one is a pregnant female who has lost her tail.
Lovely shots, and great explanations, Joe!
That second shot is really special!
Haven't seen any Lizards this year yet.
If you know where they are, look for pieces of wood that have some foliage by them but can get the sun to warm them up.
Thanks for the tip, Joe!
The last time I saw one was at Bucklers Hard, next to the hide which overlooks the river marshes. It was sunning itself on top of a piece of roofing felt!
The felt obviously warms up quickly in the sun and the lizards like the heat radiated from it.
When I'm walking round Lwwt I look at the wooden bridges and the wooden walls on the hides.
