    Default Rock Whitebeam (Sorbus rupicola) High Force

    This is a bit of a Teesdale speciality. It took us YEARS to get this one in flower - either we were too early and it hadnt flowered or we were too late and the flowers were all over!

    Then on a visit a few years ago we finally got it and its been easy since. this years display was about the best we have seen, and as you can see the florets are really pretty.

    That is indeed pretty ross, not one that I've heard of, let alone seen.

    Vary nice - I don't suppose that it has a pretty smell too?

    Not a particularly strong scent Louise. Plenty of other nice smelly plants to see on the walk tho!
