    Default Recent visitors

    We have at least 3 different Great Spotted Woodpeckers calling - no youngsters yet, but at least one male and two females. (Male/s shown below.)

    Amongst the younger generation callers have been Great Tits, Blue Tits and Greenfinches.

    We've had young Blackbirds and House Sparrows as well, but they haven't 'posed' for me yet!

    The Nuthatches are still ferrying beakfuls of sunflower hearts away up the road, so I expect they are feeding young who will visit soon, while the Woodpigeons just multiply - and eat - and multiply!

    Quite a full garden there - plants and birds. I love the 4th shot - parent and child by the food source, but only the parent actually doing anything.. unless you count the child begging for food
