Sent it to Mike and two of his friends who work in London, suggesting the latter two (who work with 'The Times' and 'the Telegraph') should send reporters to the scene to find out more!

There was one on the radio this morning - something about soon being able to listen in 3D. Also, as a little tip from one of the engineers, they explained how to tune out hiss when listening - hold you hand in front of your face and when you hear a hissing noise you move you head to the side of your hand.
