Fujifilm FinePix S8200 plus Samsung J5 mobile phone camera. Chinon Compact 9-21 x 25 RB binoculars and 10x - 30x60 Zoom binoculars

Default Unusual craft at Southampton today..

These two are special. The warship is HMS Daring, one of the new Daring Class destroyers which were built on the Clyde.

The smaller gunboat is Qinetiq's amazing creation the XSR Interceptor - berthed at Hythe across the river from Southampton. I just hope Gaddafi doesn't have any of these.....

The new warships look like the superstructure is made of cardboard, I appreciate it is for minimising the radar footprint, just looks strange. Love the Interceptor, be nice for a day trip to Callais.

You mean - to protect yourself from the British customs when returning with a HUGE cargo of beer and wine?
