    Default 14000 birds

Today a man was arrested by the Swedish police.

In his home they find lots of birds, both alive and dead, and eggs from rare birds - among them there was one tree-toed woodpecker

In his computer they found a database showin when, where and what he had captured.

He used net mostly. He will be sent for prison for this.

Think he must be a madman

That is really sad. How could he have got pleasure from his collection, knowing he had killed and trapped the very creatures he pretended to love?

I wonder what will happen to the live birds now. I suppose the others (and the eggs) will be destroyed.

Someone whose fascination became an obsession. Such a sad individual!

We've had similar over here and recently a Dutchman was sent to prison for similar offences. Scumbags.
