This is one of the scariest and most devastating problems we have had in Britain for many years.
Parts of Rhinefield Tall Trees trail in the New Forest have been shut off top the public as they found Sudden Oak death in the Rhododendrons growing beneath the tress there. Many infected trees have been felled too. It is really sad.

Yes was watching that report, add that to the return on Dutch Elm Disease and the leaf miner problems with our Horse Chestnut trees and it looks pretty grim.
