Camera :- Nikon D3100 used with Nikkor 70-300 F/4-5.6 VR Lens. Compact Camera :- Samsung V5.0 Tripod : - Yep, Good One. Binoculars :- Nikon 'Sport Lite' 10x25.

    Default Vandals

My Feeding station for the Birds has been Vandelized as it has been on previous Winters.
I do not feed the Birds all year as i do not think that they require it, tho if it were not for the constant damage recurant here in the Grounds of the Flats, i would possibly feed them all year for the Entertainment Value.
Feeding Station is now back in situation Good as New.

It's amazing what people will vandalise, I put it down to alcohol and or low intelligence.

That is really sad, Philip. I'm glad you've managed to fix it though.

Do a lot of things get vandalised near your flats? Is there a warden there, or anyone you could notify about that?

Do feeders get stolen, or are they emptied/damaged and left lying?

Yes much Vandalism and Crime tho so much better since we had CCTV installed many years ago, trouble is, the Birdfeeder is out of sight of the Cameras!
No Warden here but we all give regular reports of Trouble to the Residents Committee.
This time, as in the past, the Peanut Feeder was Knocked Down & Smashed with a Rock (they are not cheap either, being nearly Squirrel Proof) I have replaced the Broken Parts with Plywood as a Cheap fix!
It is hard to believe that Children can be so Bad, tho knowing some of the Parents, i am not surprised by thier actions.

Well, the birds seem to like the new ledge you have created, Philip, and it seems to work well for them!

(We were given a feeder with similar ceramic parts as a gift. They broke when it fell once. We glued the parts together, but it was really fragile after that. Sadly, although they look nice, they ARE vulnerable to damage.)
