    ...not if this rather possessive lady had her way - she chased the male off the first time I spotted him - he only came back once she stopped guarding it. She never actually ate any whilst I was looking, just wouldn't let him have a go. Spoilsport!

    I've scattered some apples on the ground and there are ever so many Blackbirds dining on them. They literally only leave the skin of the base part.

    Mine are more fussy - love the one I stick on the branch, but leave the one that's on the ground. I suppose that they will get around to it once they've finished the one on the branch.
