ID:	15283 I dont know if this has worked or not - I have been told its a garden warbler and a willow warbler I thought it might be a chiff chaff youngster

    and I found my way in after a few tries so thanks I wont need the help I asked for in retrieving my password after all

    Well looks like a Chiffchaff to me Ann, but there are several warblers which look very similar. Lovely photo by the way.

    I agree with Rolf too. It looks like s Chiffchaff . It look like it still has a gape

    thankyou everybody, I have asked an RSPB member for an ID now - he's unsure so its now gone to the top ornithologists in the country - I will let you know the positive outcome

    the outcome ISssssssssssssssssssssssssss my RSPB member was unsure of the ID so it he sent it to some of the top ornithologists in the country - its NOT a RARE bird but definitely a juvenile Chiff Chaff, they had quite a discussion on the pics submitted and said they have not seen one with so much grey plumage before and the question is - did I do anything in the processing to change the colour but while I do not know for certain I dont think so

    anyways its a Chiff Chaff juvenile and thats positive.................. thanks everybody for your input and trying to ID this bird for me - it certainly put the RSPB on their toes
