I don't normally spot any fish in this part of the Kennet because the movement is enough to throw up the mud, but on this day the level had sunk and slowed the flow. I spotted them and thought "look how clear and clean the water is...". Then I looked 2 feet to the left and a few yards the other way. Yep, clean and clear
