These little Butterflies (which are Essex Skippers, apart from perhaps the last one which may be a Small Skipper) were zipping around last Sunday, but managed to capture a couple at rest.
A few nice shots there - especially considering how much breeze there was, and the usual issue with them flitting about.
You were really quick to get them, I tried several times but I'm too old and slow. I love the way you've captured the eyes
Yep, was difficult, those were the only ones out of quite a few which were acceptable..gif "Smile")
Rolf and I were discussing this - there were so many butterflies and damselflies there we would have been best off just finding a spot, sitting down and waiting for them to come to us
