    Fujifilm FinePix S8200 plus Samsung J5 mobile phone camera. Chinon Compact 9-21 x 25 RB binoculars and 10x - 30x60 Zoom binoculars

    Nice capture, Beryl!

    (It seems very over-exposed to me though.
    When I - naughtily - reduced the brightness slightly, the contrast a bit and the midtones even more, it looked just perfect!
    Maybe it's just me....)

    Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

    I do find creatures who mimic others absolutely fascinating.
    I now usually take in RAW - it may slow you me down a bit (and take up more space), but it's fantastic in cases of over (or under) exposure - it's enabled me to make some great shots that normally I wouldn't even have kept.

    Mike, our son, does that, Louise, but it's far too brain and time-consuming for me!

    He likes to do HDR shots and ones of lightning as well.

    It's a white-tailed hover fly. It might be over exposed but that is exactly how I saw it with out the camera Or I would have darkened it
