    At Mottisfont last week there were SO many Banded Demoiselles, all flitting fairy-like over the water in the river.

    Some Mallards were swimming in the sunshine too...
    1. Then William and Harry came out to play
    2. Harry liked that ferny leaf so decided to land near it
    3. The Mallard liked Harry VERY much
    4. Poor William had no-one to play with

    Glad you liked it! I knew Mallards ate vegetation and insects, but somehow I didn't think they'd eat Banded Demoiselles!

    Harry obviously didn't know that either.
