Green Pug Moth - Chloroclystis rectangulata

In the last couple of weeks I've had to trawl through hundreds of photos of moths to try and ID 8 or 9 little blighters. As the searches progressed I couldn't see how, with so many moths, I would ever actually be able to recognise any without searching.
To my surprise, when I saw this lovely green chappy (which I've never seen in person before) I thought that I recognised it as a Pug.. Whoo-hoo.. I think I'm right!!!!

It's the usual story (other possible ones, although definitely a Pug) ), but I'm fairly sure - of course it's never easy when you can't g et one clear shot (he never put his wings down), but with a lot of comparing of the different shots I think so. What I neglected to say was how well he managed to stay put. It was (obviously) inside, but the window was open and it was quite breezy. I had to close the window to get a shot as he was moving so much in the breeze!!!

I agree it is a Green Pug Moth -- Pasiphila rectangulata.
