Here are some baby birds .
A blue tit. Great tit and a Chaffinch.
Why not add any you capture to this thread and we can keep the thread just for for baby birds
Great idea, Beryl!
I've put a couple of pics on your 'Young Pied Wagtail' thread, but here is a different one of him!
Also, here are a couple of a baby Blue Tit in the garden recently. Please delete them if I've posted them before.....
(Must try to get some more 'baby bird' pics now!)
Oh well done Catherine .
Really nice shots there, Catherine - they deserve a thread of their own!
Ok here is a Baby blue tit I captured today at Bowling Green marsh.
P.S It doesn't matter if one of your bird is in two different threads Catherine
These young ones were on the Beaulieu River yesterday.
Sorry to say that the boat trip route was a bit far from the Shelducks on the shore. They were like little striped humbugs with legs!
Oh Catherine they are lovely. I have never seen such baby shelducks. Only Juveniles. Well done
Her are two of a Pied wag I captured this motning on the estuary
Here is a little hose Sparrow enjoying foraging for it's self
Wasn't me mum.........Honest

Oh, that little one is SO cute, Beryl! Still to see Goldfinch chicks in our garden Got a young Robin now though. Must try to catch it tomorrow.
(Thanks, Rolf! The garden is full of young Blue Tits and Great Tits just now. There are squeaky cheeps coming from everywhere! )
Yes he is. I was lucky . People are walking along there all the time and I missed them in the tree and they all stopped on the railings so I was really pleased
Baby Chiffchaff. There were several but they wouldn't sit still

Her is a Baby Song Thrush tackling a Snail
Beautiful bird and nice series, Beryl!
It's eating a baby snail too.......................
Thanks Catherine
LOl. I took loads and loads of shots but he flew off in the end taking the snail with him as people and cars come along the lane. The lane is all along the RSPB reserve
Yes it does look like a baby snail
Nice catch there, Beryl.
Thanks Louise.
He was more concerned about his snail than me
Some nice ones there Beryl, mmmm, snails.
Thanks Rolf
Don't think I could think about eating a snail
The French love them - Escargot in garlic butter.. mmm
Here is a Baby Robin.
Nice pics, Beryl!
We saw our first young Robins in the garden two days ago.
(The French eat FROGS too, Louise.... )
Only the legs though Catherine.
Some more Baby Birds
I came across these baby Dunnocks. Just fledged and enjoying their new found freedom . The kept running back and forth along the wall and one kept jumping sideways this way and that. I made a little video but they were rather fast and it doesn't do your eye good to watch.
Tha last one was singing all the time . Such a pretty little song
A nice little collection of Dunnocks there.
Thanks Rolf. They were so cute . I watched them for quite some minutes and pointed them out to two elderly folk who were delighted to see them. They said they wouldn't have known they were and would probably have frightened them off. Made there day I think
How wonderful, they must have been fun to watch. I like the first one because you can see them jumping about (made me smile), and the last one is just a lovely shot.
Yes. Thank you. They were lovely . I like the last one because he was so happy . singing all the time
And here are some more - Mallard ducklings at Mottisfont yesterday!
The Moorhen chicks at Mottisfont were SO tiny - and SO squeaky!
All so cute
Nice one Catherine, love the colours/atmosphere in the second and third as well.
Wonderful - and such lovely surroundings too!
Thanks, folks! I liked the Moorhen chicks ones best too, but they were down the stream in a part where there was a lot of dappled shade, so the scene was set by nature!
Mind you, it's the sort of place where you really don't know what to photograph first as everything looks SO nice!
Ok..................help.................. Hope the branches below are soft................ I can't hold on any longer
Here is a baby shelduck, seen at slimbridge last month.
Fantastic shot there, Joe. It's very clear and a nice light.... I've been having too much trouble with the bright sun recently.
Very cute , well done Joe
Nice one Joe, a good one for the Gallery.
