A rather battered and pale-looking version. It must be an Autumn generation who had a rather wearing winter
I disturbed it (the only way I get to see them!) and it landed on my peeling white paint... I couldn't see it until it flew off again.

Yes, they seem to be able to merge with the background, I wonder if they deliberately land on certain coloured backgrounds.
