    Default A few more mini-beasts

    Mostly mini-bees. The one coming from the 7mm metal eye in the wood tried another hole in the wood - looking for a nest perhaps? These tiny-weeny bees absolutely fascinate me - they are so dinky, especially compared to the big bruising Bumble bees:-)

    Just wondering why mini-beasts need to be so ugly though. I mean, there aren't any REALLY pretty ones, are there?

    I wouldn't say that, Cathering, I think they are stunning little creatures... even the spiders As for the patience - nope, I'm not a 'sitter' - I wander about for 5 or 10 mins and if something comes along I snap, if not.... It's just that there is a shedload of insects in my garden as I encourage them as far as I can (for that, read 'I don't tidy my garden very much' )
