Its about 60 feet wide and something in the region of 300 feet deep - and it might get bigger if the collapse starts up again.

I saw a Large truck disappear backwards slowly in Naples in the middle of the British School playground . The ground just opend up and swallowed the truck.
No where near as big as the one above but it does happen and suddenly.
The playground was out of use for months
The crust is thin in Naples.
What I want to know is
how the hell are they going to fill it in again?
That will need hundreds of thousands of tons of rubble
If it keep sinking it will probably collapse on it's self causing more devastation
Wow, I missed that. I just Googled it and the same thing happened in Feb 2007 - the hole looks almost identical, just the surrounding buildings look different. Looks like a dangerous place to be. Oh and just to add to it - they have a tropical storm and a volcano acting up. Phew!
