    Default Exmouth Rain storms

    Two years ago Exmouth was under water torential rain and storms in the second oicture you can see the raod is under water and the Octagon in the last picture had it's foundations washed away Most years this happens and the town gets flooded and the shops have to close. we have been ok so far apsrt from about 6 weeks ago the towns shops were flodded
    Out side my house the road was flooded too one had to slosh across it

    Goodness. That's one reason why I don't fancy living right by the sea... or by a river, however nice the view! We have a lot of flood plains here, but they keep building on them. A local one was due to have building but the local MP led a campaign against it and it was stopped. Someone where I used to work has been flooded out as her flat was built on a flood plain.. and she had a ground floor flat.

    Yes . The earth is becoming a concrete jungle Britain will be like Venice and start to sink. Last year The fields not far from Bowling Green marsh were a like marshes. the cattle had to be put else where you couldn't see the field for water
