Spiraea - Bridal Wreath

This is a garden plant with a lovely blossom. It's very popular at this time of year with all the newly emerged insects.

Louise, that was one of our favourite spring flowers in Ayr. (First two pics - the bush itself, and the 'waterfall' of white under the archway.)

We bought a small plant last year to grow down here - but I think I'll have to wait for a LONG time before it is of any size at all! What do you think?

LOL - well, supposedly it's fast growing... I've not seen that That is a lovely spot there - It's one of my faves as it has suh a lovely habit.c. I was just thinking of how to get a pretty backdrop to take peoples photos against... I think that would cover it
