Default Google streeview- some people want teir minute of fame

These 2 men really wanted to be noticed.

To find them, go to http://maps.google.co.uk and in the "search maps"
box, put in the address Rugdeveien 39, 5097 Bergen, Hordaland, Norway.
To get to street view, either zoom right in, or from the links on the
left: "Directions Search nearby Save to more", click on "more" and
choose "Street View". They are on the left in front of the blue van, as
    you head east up Rugdeveien.

*** make sure that once you find them you look up and down the street a little and you will see them again

Unless there's a manhole nearby with access to deep water, I guess they are protesting at the Google car's presence!

It DOES tell you a lot about Norwegians, doesn't it? Here, folks would stand in a group with placards - quite boring really I suppose!

(I was looking - ok, nosing! - to find where some relatives lived, only knowing their address, and I came across this view a few doors down! I'm SO glad it wasn't me there! )

Our place looks quite nice on it really - sun shining on it and roses in bloom.

Glen isn't happy though. You see, he loves cars, but has a thing about Vauxhalls, having had a 'rogue' one in his early years of driving.

Now, we had friends staying over last June when the Google car visited, and we had taken them out in our car, so - you've guessed it - their Vauxhall is parked in our front driveway!

But it's a nice new car, so I told him he really shouldn't be mad about it - after all the big house at the corner is for sale, and, apt to get many searches just now, the window cleaner's old banger is parked in their driveway!

Well my van is in the shot on ours. Wish I'd cleaned it.

But your van has character, Rolf! (She hastily adds.....)

[Maybe folks could add their funny 'Google Street View' pics here?]
