    Nikon D300,nikon 70-200 +1.7 converter. Nikon 105 mm Macro with VR Sigma 300 with X2 converter Nikon P5000 with fieldscope and Binos Nikon D7000 Nikon 17-55 mm F2.8

    Captured on thursday afternoon at lavells. He'd worked up an appetite

    Great series, Joe - but sad for that poor wee fish!

    The Heron has a really bad hair day in those shots. That last one is priceless!

    I was glad he was there on thursday as nothing else was showing. There was a bitterly cold wind blowing.
    The good news is that the water level has dropped so the scrape is beginning to show.
