First post and Hoopoe

Hello all,
Thought I'd share this find as my first post on this forum and site.
Acting on a tip off from a collegue, I spent my lunch hour on the Surrey/Hants border watching this very wary Hoopoe, even with a 600mm lens, these images are a crop hence the poor quality, chuffed with the spot though

shall i suggest a ROAD TRIP... i do think it would be worth it, whos brining the tea then...

brilliant pictures, personally it doesnt look like a uk bird i guess cause its so rare and one you have to work hard to see...
