    Are they in the middle of dipping, or do they just float low in the water? I haven't seen one myself so have to ask Nice shot, BTW - I like to see pairs as well.

    they were dipping I had to wait ages for them both to surface at once. Incidently there was another female vying for his attention, but I couldn't get all three in one shot.
