Default Little Blue Butterfly: Cupido minimas.

This is the Little Blue-Cupido minimas.
It is smaller than other Blue and it's wingspan is 10mm.
I have put here a side view to show the under wings and a top view of it's head and to show it's eyes a little better The top of the butterfly is dark blue with a white rim around the edge of it's wings. This infomation is according to a book I own Encyclopedea of Butterflies.

They are flying now but they tend to fly high and land out of eye view. But if you look around Holly and Ivey you will see a Holly Blue which is sightly bigger an has a chocolate bown rim the male having chocolate tips. There is also the common blues vary simila with narrow choc' rim and white round the otter rim.
There are about 15 different Blues but seen in different parts of the UK
