    Default Pyracantha meets Polo

    This is our poor old Pyracantha which due to the weight of snow, had decided to go and meet the VW Polo.

    The second photo is my van in the snow this morning.

    Wow, snowy... lucky the bush didn't break, unlike the attached (taken by my boyfriend on his phone) which is outside a wonderful 18th Century building nearish the town centre of Reading... it will ruin the whole appearance.

    Oh yes, another Cedar with problems, one of my customers has a very large one in his garden, which lost a couple of big branches.

    Not sure whether the Pyracantha has survived the experience, have had to put a bolt into the wall and strap it up using steel lashing cable.

    Ooh, wonderfully lethal-looking icicles. I hadn't looked out the back until now, and yes I have some goodies as well.
