    I don't know what they were looking at, but they were all doing it :-) I was going to out it under the 'Wildlife bloomers' thread, then decided to put it here as I quite like the composition. My title would have been : "Brian was trying not to giggle - the "stare hard and others will stare there too" trick was working fantastically." Oh, some creatures are so gull-ible

    (I think they may all have been facing into the wind, as Gulls often do that to stay warm and to keep their feathers smart!)

    I didn't know that, Catherine - that would certainly explain that. Of course, it couldn't have anything to do with the fact that pointing in a different direction to the others leaves it open for them to sneak up on you with a can of shaving foam
