    Fujifilm FinePix S8200 plus Samsung J5 mobile phone camera. Chinon Compact 9-21 x 25 RB binoculars and 10x - 30x60 Zoom binoculars

    It looks like a Water Snail of sorts, Beryl!

    Good call, Catherine. I'd never though of that, but as you can see by the water on the back, it was the result of a dive.

    I was thinking of a Ramshorn Snail like this one on our pond wall. They eat algae from water plants deep down as well.

    Yep, Catherine - I don't think it's too deep there and they had been diving, so might well be.
