I can watch them for ages. The fact that they are white makes the little fim interesting because they can be followed as the swim under the water

Yes, that was the problem when I was trying to track the Little Grebe the other day, occasionally a shadow can be seen but in most cases they disappear.

I have a vudeo of a cormorant and when it dived I stopped the film because I had no idea where it was coming up , probably 50 metres away
