    Nikon D300,nikon 70-200 +1.7 converter. Nikon 105 mm Macro with VR Sigma 300 with X2 converter Nikon P5000 with fieldscope and Binos Nikon D7000 Nikon 17-55 mm F2.8

    Default Kingfisher at Lavell's

    the first shows that he likes green veg with fish. the second he wouldn't hang around for me.

    I was just getting focussed on him sat on the stick and he took off as I took the shot. Just lucky.

    LOL, many flight shots are Joe, particularly with a bird as fast as the Kingfisher.

    Yes, the second shot is great - I love to see birds setting off. But it's also nice to see that he has been following his mother's food advice and is eating his greens
