Default From my bedroom window - Dunnock, Blue Tit & Sparrow

    Dunnock - Prunella modularis,
Blue Tit - Cyanistes caeruleus "I'm not talking to you"
House Sparrow - Passer domesticus "I love my leaf"

From my window. I was watching the Sparrows in their morning squabbles when I suddenly realised that the bird I was looking at was actually a Dunnock. I knew that there was one about as I have heard his call, but not actually seen one in my garden for a couple of years. Then in the background I saw a dart of blue and a cheeky little Blue Tit was darting around.

... but I really must think about getting a longer lens

Amazing what is going on under your nose on a daily basis without you realising.

Nice shots, particularly the second dunnock shot.

Yep, I can see a 50-500 on the horizon.

..of course you can - you've got a lens big enough to see to the horizon

Default A lovely collection of birds

Great assortment, nice pictures, I'm focused on KF at the moment, My longest lens is 70-400 no converter availible, but for little birds I can take hand held pics, I use a tripod where posible, a longer lens and you have no option. It's a delight to see a variety of birds.
