    Default floating Heron at Lavell's Lake

    I haven't often seen them floating on the lake, but to illustrate how low it is at the moment, the second shot is of him standing in the middle of it.

    I have never seen one floating but I guess on the estuary they wouldn't

    Good point - I've not a big experience of water birds, but I have only seen them standing.
