I looked down and thought I had seen a Scorpion. Looking more closely I see a Spider and and insect. I thought the spider was running off with the insect but in the second picture you see they have stopped. The spider didn't move . The insect ran round in a few circles then went back to the spider and dragged it across the path. It was the other way round.
This is a Spider Wasp. It stings the spider and paralyzes it. Spider wasps are long-legged, solitary wasps that use a single spider as a host for feeding their larvae.
The spider is dragged to a nest .It lays an egg in the spider’s abdomen and the nest – or burrow – is closed
