    Default Mother of Pearl Moth?

    The reason I am unsure is that the colour is so creamy (and it was that creamy in real life if I remember correctly), although I know that the pearlescence is not not obviously from all angles, it isn't at all obvious here.
    The patterning is about right, and the general structure, and I can't see what else it would be, but it's not good to name something if you are not 100% sure.


    PS - Goodness - just made another search (for the umpteenth time) and have discovered that here is a pale form.. so I'll go with "Mother of pearl Moth then )

    Thanks Beryl, but I did look there. As I said - the patterning was fine, but the colour very different which is why I was querying it. It wasn't until yesterday that I found a photo of one that wasn't the grey-ish colour that is shown on that website and most others.
