    Default Mint Beetle - Chrysolina herbacea

    I'm sticking with the 'mint' theme

    As the name suggests, it likes mint, with its favourite being Water Mint - Mentha aquatica. This is probably Water Mint - looks like it and is near a river, although not in the margins as it would normally be found. It sure smells like it's related, though

    Well, that makes up for the fact that you got a much better shot than I did of the Banded Demoiselle - although I'm sticking to the excuse that you had a better lens
