    On the way home from work (what a surprise!) - the first one I've seen for absolutely ages, and certainly the first I've photographed. Annoyingly - I could steady myself against a fence - but it was breezy so I still had to keep snapping in the hope that I caught just one shot reasonably still

    Thanks Beryl, although still not as clear as they could have been since I had the fence to stop ME from swaying Still, they are my first.

    We've seen so many white Butterflies recently, that Glen was complaning that the 'real ones' seemed to have disappeared!

    I'm sure he'd be ecstatic to capture one on camera like that!

    That's what I'd noticed as well, Catherine - I was meaning to bring it up.

    I've been amazed at how many whites there are - even on the mean streets of North London where I can see nothing that could be considered as a food stuff - yet they fly along the roads as happy as Larry
