    Never really managed to get a decent Jackdaw photo, went looking for Seabird photos and there he was.

    It's always the way isn't it - you never get what you expect. Some really nice shots there Rolf, really clear, and nice poses - almost like he was being directed.
    I'm glad you got them as I haven't been able to get a good look at one.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    nice shots rolf. they are a pretty bird aren't they. lots of subtle colour changes... and those eyes!!
