Female White-legged Damselfly - Platycnemis pennipes

There were hundreds of damselflies all darting about over the place but I managed to capture the female here and though it's not fantastic, it's the first White-legged I have seen

No. Not albino. It is just one of the gang so to speak

This one looks different in a number of aspects from all the photos I've seen of the White Legged females (young or old) - e.g. the eyes seem more blue rather than brown and it doesn't have as many stripes on the side of the thorax. So what is it that confirms it as a White-legged?

As it happens it's a common Blue Female
