    There wer 50 or more on this one plant, they were every where. I had to watch they didn't get in my harir when I recorded one on my camcorder

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    these are little crackers aren't they!! just looked at rolf's essex skipper... i saw 'my' cinnabar caterpillar in essex, at a place called two tree island!!! it crawled across the path infront of us. they really are striking. it must have been a colourful site, with the numbers you saw, beryl

    Yes they are very striking and a warning to birds not to eat them as they are toxic and would be very unpalatable.
    I was hoping I would see one and found masses
