Took the Black Bird by Caversham Lock
The House Sparrow is taken from the fron room window
A fine couple of shots. I love the way the feathers on the Blackbird look like velvet - it's my favourite of the 2 shots (but then I'm a sucker for Blackbirds).
Mind you, the Sparrow looks a little stunned - what had it seen you doing through that window?
Yes. The Blackbird is a fine looking bird .
I also love the little house sparrows they always sound so cheerful chattering away in the bushes in the little communities.

They are noisy little things, we have them nesing in the roof
I would think they would be if in the roof. lovely to hear in the bushes though
