    Default fledgeling Blackbird

    This was hilarious. The mother was a couple of feet away, picking about in the grass and the young 'un was the other side of a chain link fence.. trying to get through it Luckily it finally dawned on it to go over instead. Mind you, as you can see, it wasn't amused at my laughter - and looked quite frightening when it was being fed

    I was killing myself. After this the mum went hopping up and down over the grave stones with little greed-guts hopping after her. I love the way they just stand there while the parent picks out the goodies - with no attempt to try themselves
